The show found that those who adopt a plant-based diet experienced no difference in testosterone levels when compared to those who regularly eat meat.

According to researchers, plant-based diets include foods that boost testosterone, including those high in amino acids, omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, and B vitamins. Think pumpkin seeds, avocado, and coconut.

This common misconception stems from the belief that these foods include soy, which is said to be loaded with estrogen. As it turns out, soy actually contains phytoestrogens - compounds that look like estrogen - that have the opposite effect, blocking your body’s estrogen receptors and actually improving testosterone levels.
